About an hour after retiring to your room you notice a letter slipped under the door. You open it and it reads " 2 blocks south of the Trade Discal. It's near the tree line, the only house starting to get overrun by branches and vines."
You look around and see two ways to leave your room.

You open the door into the hallway of the inn. It's quite, lights are dimmed. You make your way down the stairs and notice all the patrons have left. The bartender is closing down for the night. You pause for a moment until you find your opening to leave without being noticed.

You're able to reach out and grasp it, and scurry your way down to the ground below. You peek beyond the building, into the street and you see 4 Shieldbearers huddled up in conversation.

How impressed they were with Wyvern Wrangle. How unexpected it was to have a messenger arrive with such a challenge. How the Sensa Empire is known as the City of Gold and how much they would love to get their hands on some of it. After a few moments the group starts to continue moving west through the streets of the Radiant Citadel and you see your opening.

You can't hear most of the conversation but you do pick up on one of them saying that the Sensa Empire is known as the City of Gold and how they would like to get their hands on some of it. After a few moments the group starts to continue moving west through the streets of the Radiant Citadel.

Some windows being overtaken by them. The area is quite and you don't see any form of light on in the house. You take a few moments to scout for any entrances and you find 3.

As you exit the tavern you notice 4 Shieldbearers huddled up in conversation.

The most interesting of which is that the Sensa Empire is made up of 3 city-states, Anisa, Niba, Tarikh, which all compete for the Empress Inaya's favor. Hoping the Empress will choose her heir from one of their own royal families.

You walk up the front steps that lead to the wooden door and see that it is locked.

You have to rely on your dark vision to see here. The back of the house looks even more unkept than the front. The back door looks a lot more worn down than the rest of the house. Scraps around the doors key hole, framing cracked near the door's bolt indicate this door has been broken into before, or at least attempted.

However, as you get closer you notice that the window is opened just slightly. Enough for you you slide your fingers under and lift up.

As you wiggle the tool into the lock you hear the faint clicking noises of the pins locking in position. The door is unlocked and the knob turns freely. However, the door doesn't open. It feels as if there is something holding it shut from the inside.

Inserting the tool causes the locking mechanism to fall out of the door and onto the floor in the house, making a faint "thud". You pause in your tracks and listen for a beat. You hear the sounds of rustling in the house but only for a moment. Once the sound start to die down again you slightly push on the door. You can tell that it is no longer locked and will open, however, you notice that the bottom hinge is about ready to give out.

As you enter through the window you notice that it brought you into the main room of the house. You can see a fireplace and some funiture in this room. The fireplace looks like it hasn't been used in years and the funiture looks like it hasn't been replaced for even longer.

The noise it makes when crashing to the floor is enough to startle you. It takes you a moment to gather your composure. You start to hear footsteps coming from upstairs.

Inside, you can discern a collection of finely tailored clothing, ranging from formal attire to more practical garments. The quality and style suggest there is more to Zurik than you first thought. You push the clothes aside and notice an unlocked chest toward the back. The lid easily lifts up to reveal 89 gold pieces and 150 silver pieces.

You're able to climb up without the floor making any noise. As you make your way to the top you can tell the stairs lead into a giant open room. Against the furthest wall is a bed with a creature in it sleeping. You can't make out who it is from this distance.

The moment before the task has been fulfilled has alway been the most satisfying. Especially when they don't see it coming. That moment when they feel the safest and you're about to take it all away.

The parchment paper is covered in weird runes, similar to that found in the Tome of Enchantment.
As you rolled the parchment and vellum up you notice a list on top of the desk that you looked past earlier.
